The goal of our evacuation effort is to evacuate the maximum number of Ukrainians from any unsafe point A to a safe point B

What we are doing

Connecting People

We are finding matches between supply and demand for drivers, we are attempting to provide buses and protective equipment

Mapping Safe Routes

Traveling within Ukraine is extremely dangerous and requires preparation

Mapping Border Crossing

Borders are overwhelmed, we are trying to optimize the process of crossing the border

The process

Before border:

Who, from where, and when do we evacuate?
Where do we bring these people?
Which route are we bringing them there?
Who is bringing them there and using what vehicles?

At the border:

Which border crossing do we bring people to?
What do we/they need to know about crossing the border?

Safety Measures

We are taking extreme precautions and are doing our best to secure the passage and in some situations even equip passengers and drivers with basic protection like helmets and vests but supplies logistic is a whole other level of complexity.

  • someone who can assess region-wide situation of “where we can evacuate, where we can’t”, just staying up to date with news and assessing the status by the maps etc
  • someone who can work as a dispatch on this team and keep up to date list of “needs” from the team that we can expose to external list of volunteers
  • someone who can manage budget and resources if we need to use donations (I’m sure we will need)
  • someone who can go through incoming list of form submissions (17,000 so far) and assess viability based on our agreed parameters and supply side of transport
  • someone who can become border expert for one or multiple locations that we will use as end destinations
  • someone who has experience with logistics and is able to bridge safe map routes from A to Z for each trip
  • someone who is excellent at communication in Ukrainian and can become a contact point for all parties involved

It's extremely unsafe to travel anywhere within Ukraine due to current air strikes, occurrences of Russian special forces sabotaging operations
